Alexandra Vivas is a Cinematographer and Director based in Miami, FL  with a specialization in underwater projects. 

Over the past 9 years, she has taken the art of filmmaking underwater, demonstrating her passion and courage to push her creative limits even deeper. Alexandra is dedicated to making powerful imagery for individual clients, brand campaigns, narratives, music videos, products, and ocean life. 

 Alexandra has worked with countless clients, including Netflix, HBO, Amazon, SONY Music, Spotify, CBS docs, NATGEO, The Recording Academy, MTV, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Warner Bros.,TBN, TLC,  Nickelodeon, Ford Motor company,  Continental Airlines among others.

Maleja Rodríguez a Puerto Rican director born and raised in San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico. Since she was little, she showed interest in acting and audiovisual media. In 2004 she moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina where she completed a degree in filmmaking from the Center for Cinematographic Research. 

After two years, she returns to her island and begins to work in different areas of the production industry. She developed experience in production, casting, art, wardrobe departments, and later in directing. 

During the years 2008-2014 she became known for her excellent work as an assistant director, both in advertising and film productions.

Born in Puerto Rico, Mariem, at age nine, performed in the leading role of the movie “The Two Worlds of Angelita”. It was after that experience that she decided to become a film director.

Her first documentary “Cuando lo pequeno se hace grande” about the Puerto Ricans who fought against the US Navy presence in the island of Vieques; was awarded Best Documentary at various international film festivals.

She then debuted as film editor of the blockbuster film from rapper Daddy Yankee “Talento de Barrio”.

In 2005 she founded her own production company Maramara Films and in 2007 she co-directed with Carlos Ruiz and edited her first feature “Maldeamores” (executive produced by Benicio Del Toro) which won several international awards including Best Opera Prima, Audience Award, Best Picture, Best Screenplay, and Best Actress.
